MERRY CHRISTMAS from the Gospel Sounds to each of you!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving holiday. We did; it was a wonderful time to spend with family and reflect on how God has blessed us. As I write this, I am amazed at the things God is doing. So many things are in the works, many that I never imagined could ever take place. In the last year, I have learned that I tend to place limits on what God will do. Thankfully, God has proven that He can step beyond the limits I inadvertently set, performing works that continually amaze me. We serve an awesome, awesome God.

We spent an amazing four nights in revival at Shelburn (shall burn) Church of God. Pastor Jerry Adams and his congregation had really been praying for revival, and God answered their prayers. We saw some folks filled with the Spirit and others touched by God in wonderful ways. It's amazing what prayer can do! Brother Paul kicked off the revival on Thursday night, Brother David Heard preached on Friday, I preached on Saturday, Brother Eddie preached on Sunday morning and Paul preached the last message Sunday night. We videotaped the services and I hope to make them available on DVD soon. We can't wait to get back to Shelburn (shall burn) again!

We have two dates remaining for the year: on December 2, 2007 we'll be at Christ Corner church in Henderson, Kentucky with Pastor Phil Culbertson and congregation. I grew up at that church under the pastoring of my uncle Russell East and was saved there; Pastor Phil has taken the church to the next level and they are a worshipping group of people. On December 16, 2007 we will be at River of Life Church of God in Indianapolis, Indiana with Pastor Jonathan Quigley and his congregation, and we are really looking forward to being there.

There are many opportunities that God is making available to us. We ask that you pray for us that we will make the right choices and follow God's leading as we review these opportunities. It's only through your prayers and support that we are able to continue in the ministry we believe God has called us to.

Finally, the re-release of our "Travelin with the Gospel Sounds" album is doing well. If you haven't picked up your copy yet, you can via our website as well.
